Information exchange between German and Japanese nuclear regulatory authorities

Information exchange between the German and Japanese nuclear regulatory authorities was agreed in the Joint Statement of Intent between the Nuclear Regulation Authority of Japan and the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety of the Federal Republic of Germany Regarding the Exchange of Information on Nuclear Safety, concluded on 24 September 2014. The information exchange focusses on topics including the decommissioning of nuclear installations and the management and disposal of radioactive waste.
