Collection of statistics

Data is collected on this website for statistical and optimisation purposes using the webtracking tools Matomo and etracker. Both tools use cookies, which are text files that are stored on your computer, to help us analyse the use of the website. To this end, the use of information generated by the cookie (including your anonymized IP address) is transmitted to our server and stored. This function can be deactivated (see 7.3. below).

The information produced by the cookie is used exclusively for statistical purposes and the improvement of the internet presence and server. Your IP address is anonymised and cannot be traced back to you. It will not be shared with third parties.

When you access a page, data about the visit is stored. This includes the following information: page title, search term that led to the page, search engines, page URL, number of pages accessed, location of the visitor (country), internet provider, browser, operating system, screen resolution, browser plugins, time of visits, length of visits, entry page, exit page, downloads, referring pages.

Opting out of data collection

As a user, you always have the option to reject the tracking by the Matomo and etracker programs that are used. Please observe the following necessary steps.

Matomo

If users have activated a browser's do-not-track option, Matomo will not collect any user data. In this case, you do not need to do anything else.

If you have not activated it, please follow the instructions. Internet Explorer users please read the note below. Once the settings have been activated there, you can check the box to opt out.

Nota bene: If you delete your cookies, the opt-out cookie will also be deleted and you may need to re-activate it.

Important information

Internet Explorer users can deactivate Matomo by navigating to Tools → Internet Options → Privacy → Advanced, putting a check mark next to "Override Automatic Cookie Handling" and then clicking the "OK" button.
